Peeta Mellark

Biography
He is a baker and decorates the cakes outside of his families bakery. After he wins he has enough money to paint pictures on canvases. His name got reaped and he went into the games with Katniss. Their key strategy was to be star-crossed lovers from district 12.
Relationships
As he states in his first interveiw he has an undyning love for Katniss. He proves this in the cave during their first games. When they return home he learns that Katniss was just playing the romance thing in the arena is left helplessly stranded. With Gale, Katniss's best friend, Peeta has a sort of rivalry, but withholds his emotions for Katniss's sake. Although after the second games, the capitol captures Peeta and inserts tracker Jacker Venom into him. He then forgets evrything good about Katniss and thinks of her as a mutt. This theroy is proved when he tries to strangle her.
Family
He has two older brothers who are never named although we know one is too old for reaping. He has a dad who is fairly nice and makes good trades with Gale and Katniss. His mother is referred to as a witch. She is never very nice and whipped Peeta when he dropped the bread into the fire. As told in the third book, his family does not make it out of district 12 alive.Physical Description

He is said to have hair that is blonde. It also mentions in the second book, while hes drawing with Katnis, that his eyelashes are very blonde too. It also mentions in all of the stories that he has bright blue eyes that Katniss cannot help falling for. It also states that no amount of dramatic makeup can make his blue eyes look deadly.

Cinna

Biography

Cinna is a stylist for district 12. Katniss remarks in the first book that he is the most normal looking capitol person she had met. He and and his Partner Portai, Peeta's stylist, come up with the most amazing clothes. That is one way that helps Katniss and Peeta stay alive in the arena, by his amazing outfits, they get so many sponsers!

Thoughts

As he states in the second book, I always channel my emotions into my work. That way I don't hurt anyone but myself. He beleives that Snow is a terrible ruthless person with no heart, and proves both of these statements when Katniss's Wedding gown burst into flames and he turned her into the mockingjay. Because of this he got killed.

Katniss Everdeen

Katniss everdeen is the main character of all three books in the trilogy. She took her sister,Prim's, place at the reaping. Once in the games her main strategy is be star crossed lovers with her fellow district 12 tribute Peeta Mellark. She won the games by trying a double suicide with herself and Peeta but the capitol announced two victors.
District 12
She is very clever and back home her best friend Gale and her would sneak out inot the woods beond the fence of 12 to hunt illegally and feed both their families. After she wins the games she comes home to find Gale working in the mines, and even though she has enough money to feed both families, Gale refuses. She still hunts to help feed his family while he works in the mines 12 hours a day except sundays.
Family
Family matters deeply to Katniss. she risked her own life to keep her sister's belly full. Prim, Katniss's sister, means the world to Katniss and she does everything she can to protect her. Her father, who she loved very much and fed their family, died in a coal mine accident when Katniss was 11 and Prim was 7. After that their mother fell into a deep depression and was pretty much unreachable for several months after. Katniss and Prim almost starved to death before Katniss learned that the fence was unelectrified and she could sneak out to hunt.
Thoughts
Gale and her both hate the capitol and want to destroy it in very way possible. As Katniss proved in, the Hunger games, where she covered rue with flowers in the arena, to show bthey were both more than a peice in their games. This also was shown when she held out the berries to Peeta Mellark to even have double victors even though one was intended. It is also mentioned that Gale rants and raves in the woods about his dislike for the capitol. Then in ,Mockinjay, one of her requsts to agree to be the mockingjay is TO KILL SNOW. One day they plan on having a representitve where the people of the districts can vote.
Physical Description
She has the seam look. Gray eyes and olive skin. Along with straight dark colored hair. She is also very skinny from years of being underfed. it metions in all of the books how she can easily count her ribs. After becoming the victor of the forst games, the capitol completly redid her whole body to show no scars or wounds from the arena of previous ones accumulated from hunting. Before that surgury her body was as scr covered as Gales.

Hunger Games

The Hunger Games trilogy is a very fasinating and great story line. This is a fansite for all of the people out there who love the books Collins has written.
